SHOUT OUT: Previous TSL.P Podcast Guest David Sparks shares a not-so-Mac-based Holiday list.

Just because the Holidays are over doesn’t mean you still can’t find items to enhance your practice!

Just because the Holidays are over doesn’t mean you still can’t find items to enhance your practice!

Last month on Mac Power Users, previous TSL.P Podcast guest (Ep #1 & #2) David Sparks along with this co-host Stephen Hackett dropped a holiday list of items they like or recommend for Holiday purchases.  You might be surprised that some of their suggestions were not all Apple based!

Office ergonomics was on their list!  How we physically use technology affects our bodies poorly in too many ways; why not take steps to alleviate their effect.  David had interesting selection of the Capisco Chair by HÅG chair.  They also recommended Standing Desks by Fully for your back and body.  As lawyers, we are sitting and (and now) standing (with our standing-desks).  These items appear to give us some necessary relief to our back and feet.

Mounts and stands for our smart phones.  Many attorneys use as their primary office video cam (if not secondary when mobile) their smart phone.  David and Stephen talk about their favorite stand for their smartphones:  JOBY GripTight ONE Micro Stand for Smartphones.

Lastly, lets not forget some of the items to improve the overall performance of your office tech:  A LumeCub for giving yourself the extra-lightening to make your appearance better during a video call.  I am a user myself and enjoy the product!  A Solid-State Harddrive to replace the old spinning Hard Disk Drive to improve the speed, hard drive stability and overall performance of your computer.  Or for more secure transport of an external drive like SAMSUNG T7 Portable SSD.

It's a fun episode!  You don't have to be an Apple/Mac user to enjoy the episode.

Thanks Dave and Stephen for the suggestions!
